QJ-Pro does not include a Java runtime environment (JRE). You will need a 1.3 or 1.4 level Java runtime or Java development kit (JDK) installed on your machine in order to run QJ-Pro. This section contains the description on how to install and run the standalone client of QJ-Pro.

Windows

Download the latest binary release, called qjpro_Vx_x_gui.zip, and unzip it into any directory, for example C:\QJ-ProVx_x. To run QJ-Pro go to the directory C:\QJ-Pro-Vx_x\bin and run xclient.exe this will bring up the GUI. If you happen to see flashing DOS boxes while you are working with the tool you can also use winclient.exe to start the GUI, this command makes sure that the boxes do not appear.
